Competitive advantage: no more manual trays

The most important feature of this feeder is the unique design of its rims and base. In traditional systems, operators have to use plastic trays or paper rolls on the litter during the first week after chick placement so that the chicks can eat. Besides requiring a lot of labour, this quickly contaminates the feed with droppings.

In the Pouya butterfly pan, the ergonomic “butterfly wing” design lets day-old chicks easily take clean feed from the low rims without having to enter the pan.

3 to 5 percent less feed waste

As the birds grow, the pan’s double anti-spill rims come into play.

  • Prevents feed from being thrown out when the birds peck
  • Grille design that stops birds from entering the pan and soiling the feed
  • Precise adjustment of the feed level in the pan according to flock age

Material

One of Toyooran Sanat Pouya’s points of pride in manufacturing this product is the use of entirely new polypropylene (PP). This material is fully resistant to UV radiation and to frequent washing with acids and strong poultry house disinfectants, and ensures a service life of over 10 years.

For a high-capacity poultry farm, even a 1 percent improvement in feed conversion ratio (FCR) has a noticeable effect on annual profit. The Pouya butterfly pan feeder helps achieve this profitability.
